Sir Daniel Winn Takes Home Two Awards, Oil on Canvas and Stainless Steel/Marble Sculpture in Contemporary Painting and Sculpture Categories

Sir Daniel Winn, world renowned celebrity artist, curator and founder of the prestigious Winn Slavin Fine Art Gallery in Beverly Hills, was awarded gold and silver medals in the categories of Contemporary Painting and Sculpture respectively from the Mondial Art Academy. With over tens of thousands of notable artists competing, many of whom were professionals who submitted multiple pieces, the competition was stiffer than ever. Overall, there were 45 international judges who reviewed the works and granted the awards.
In the Contemporary Painting category, Sir Daniel Winn took home the gold medal for his oil on canvas painting on which he collaborated with China’s most renowned couturier, Guo Pei. The goal of the collaboration and work was to express the contemporary innovations between art and culture. Artist Sir Daniel Winn’s journey into the cultural heritage of the orient along with Guo Pei’s magnificent couture creations are inspired by centuries of storytelling through paintings and embroidery. Combining the worlds of Sir Daniel Winn and Guo Pei was a winning combination as their artistic expressions harmonize a meaning behind each color, texture, stitch and stroke.
